For Lynne K. Ranieri: Hiya Lynne, I just read an e-mail posted about a Directory lookup in South Orange and saw you mentioned the Millburn-Short Hills Histroical Society. Perhaps you can help me also. My Great Grandfather, John LEBER, was from Millburn in 1860. After 30 years of searching I found a marriage record for him and my Great Grandmother, Sarah Ann DUNHAM. They were married in Newark, NJ and she was from Westfield. I did some research in Westfield and came up with bushels and bushels of ancestors, graves and family history to back before the Mayflower. I have not however done anything on John LEBER. I know that just after their wedding they lived in Millburn as the 1860 census indicates he was a harness maker and the census is in fact rather odd. Since the information recorded was suppose to be as of a certain date, and they were not married yet, and the data was taken after their marriage, she is listed as living with him, but unmarried. (I have the marriage record and dates so I know that is not true, at least for that time. LOL). I would appreciate any help in that direction. TIA Dave from Long Island
