I am looking for information on my ancestor, Capitola (or Georgianna) GRINLINTON, who was married to George W. GUTH. I can't seem to find any more info on her, and what I have is conflicting. Capitola was either born in Illinois or NY, and was the daughter of Robert GRINLINTON. I was able to locate a GRINLINTON in a late 1800 census of Essex County, but I don't know if there is any connection. Capitola and George had a son born in 1890, supposedly in Brooklyn. He was christened at Bethel Presbyterian Church a few months later (not sure why they would make a trip from Brooklyn to Orange or E. Orange with a baby then). George worked on the railroad and they lived on Park Ave. in E. Orange many years later. They are both buried in Pleasantdale Cemetery. Any other information on this family is greatly appreciated. I have her death certificate and found her on some census records, but the places of origin are conflicting. I would love to hear from others who might be researching this rare name.
