Hi, Does anyone know how I might get information about the Waldmann family who worked a farm in Livingston NJ @ 1858. >From Adam Waldmann's obit of 22 Dec 1884 "...with his brother Chris, purchased a farm at Livingston, which they worked very successfully and after selling out his interest Adam came to Newark and opened a Saloon". I discovered that the boys had a mother here in US who was buried in Woodland cemetery 28 Nov 1887. Her name was Elizabeth Waldmann. No obit was found. She never appeared in census or directories I have seen. So I am wondering if she was in Livingston and if they had a father or other members of their family living there? Adam had a daughter, Bertha who married Herman Oschwald (Oswald) does anyone know if they are a family from Livingston?
