I want to thank everyone from this list who answered my questions about Newark, especially Glenn. I had a very successful trip. I visited Fairmount Cemetery and found my gr-gr-grandparents graves. The cemetery staff was very helpful and I felt very safe inside the gates. I also visited the Library on Washington Street and spent 2 hours looking up death notices. I found 9 in all and although they did not have much information there were some valuable clues contained in them. I also visited the National Archives on Varick St in NY and got my both of my grandfather's WWI draft registrations. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to answer my questions. Susan Hovencamp
