    1. Re: St. Peter's RC Church Records
    2. Hi: I was researching in a local FHC this morning and checked for the St. Peter's Church records for you. The microfilms of the original records can be found at McLaughlin Library, Seton Hall University, South Orange. They also may be ordered through the LDS FHC. The dates and film numbers follow after your message <<St.Peters Roman Catholic Church is still around(Newark). I am hoping to find some records on family marriage for Joseph L. Sachs and Anna R. Strubel m.November 24, 1915 >> Baptisms 1855-1858 1378065 Baptisms 1867-1883 Baptisms 1883-1898 1378066 Baptisms 1898-1914 1378067 Marriages 1855-1859 Marriages 1867-1923 1378068 Confirmation 1886-1970 Communion 1866-1926 Forms used for recording information (& most information) are in Latin. Baptisms 1889-18894 are in English. Communions are in English too. There are individual indexes for most volumes of baptisms and marriages. The marriage indexes are for the groom only. I hope this information will be of some help to you. Regards, Pat Giovanni Sunnyvale, CA Researching: Christensen, Dailey, MacNee, Mattern, McEvoy, O'Hara - Newark Byrne, Burns, O'Hara - Belleville
