Pat - The Newark telephone book doesn't list a St. Benedict's Church. However there is a St. Benedict's Pre School at 79 Barbara St. (201-589-5626) & a St. Benedict's Grammar School (201-589-7295) on Komorn St., runs parallel to Barbara St. one block away.
