Hi, I am new to the NJ list scene and am posting to multiple lists in hopes someone may be able to help me! I am searching for information regarding my great-great grandparents, Patrick CLARK & his wife Bridget SULLIVAN who lived in Branch Mills, NJ where their daughter, Mary Elizabeth CLARK (my great-grandmother) was born Oct. 6, 1870. Family stories claim this family is of "the Virginia CLARKs" -- whatever that means. I have no clue! If anyone out there understands this cryptic message, please advise! The only info I have regarding this couple is from the death certificate of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth CLARK, who died in 1938 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Is Summit in Essex or Union County? Mary was married twice: first in Milburn (Essex Co.) to my great-grandfather, James Alfred Ryan of Short Hills, NJ; and next to Frederick V. Hall of Springfield, NJ. Does anyone know of these people? Did Patrick & Bridget have any other children? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I would love to find some relatives. Here's hoping...
