Thanks to all, both on-line and off, who responded to my plea for information about the amount of time it takes to receive records. It appears the response time varies considerably with 5-6 weeks being the norm. I also learned I was not alone in having my request returned because I had written the date as 'circa 1925' even though I had included enough $ for a search of several years. I was told I must write the exact years, i.e. 1925, 1926, 1927, etc. I will continue to wait - what else can one do . . . .but I was encouraged that everyone eventually got their records.
