I will be visiting Glen Ridge, NJ on October 5 1999 with my mother. Her grandmother's family, WILLIAM T. SPENCER, lived in Glen Ridge from its early development. William died in 1937; I have a record of his death certificate and I know his address so that we can look at the house that this part of our family lived in (or still does). Any suggestions on where we should start? Is there an historic society in Glen Ridge? Or a library that might have some information on the family?
