Littell ("Family Records or genealogies of the first settlers of Passaic Valley and Vicinity above Chatham") writes: "HENRY LITTELL, (1st child of Nathaniel, son of Samuel, 1st,) had children: (5th Gen.)" and also writes that Henry's seventh child: "Nancy married Richard Swain, of Springfield." No dates, but it appears from the context that Henry may have been born circa 1750, perhaps a little later. Does anyone know of Richard Swain and Nancy (Littell) Swain of Springfield and their descendants? Springfield is in Essex County, N.J. Thank you for your kind attention and any advice.
