Author: aprilbaby61 Surnames: Key Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newjersey.counties.cumberland/1223.1.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am the grandneice to Alice Key Boggs who lived in Port Elizabeth, and have been working on my geneology for years (or what feels like years), trying to find out of my branch of the Key Family was related to the famous "Francis Scott Key". I have not been able to prove we are, but have come no closer to proving we aren't. I know that we came from a "John Key" in Repaupo back in the late 1700's to early 1800's, but his diaries yielded very little information about where he came from or who his parents were. If anyone has anything that would help, I'm interested. I lost all my family history on my mom's side in my last move, so I have to start over again.
