I was one of two little girls that used to visit Alice all the time. I am the eldest grand neice, Terry. I do have to clear up one thing, though, and that is to my knowledge and to my mother's (Virginia), there was only one Everett, and my grandfather was it. He and Helen only had my Mom and my uncle Robert. I remember the cookies well, as does my sister, and while they were good in flavor, they were dry. We needed milk to "help them".
