    3. Lois, It has been quite a while since the subject of the Hackett line in Camden and/or Cumberland Cty was discussed. The only information I have is based on family tradition, and so naturally is unreliable. Craig's Glouster County Marriages has Lydia Hackett marrying Benjamin W. Brown on 2 July 1838. That information is suspect because as far as I know, Benjamin Webb Brown moved from upper New York State to Camden on 12 July 1838, and was married to Lydia in the First Baptist Church there. I would be interested in knowing what happned to the records of this church. The couple apparently had five children: 1. Sara Jane (1839-1839) 2. Mary Elizabeth (1839-1839) 3. Emma R. (1840-1877) 4. Daniel (1843-1859) 5. Elvira G. (1847-1874) Are the marriages and descendents of Emma or Elvira known? Benjamin was burried in Evergreen Cmty, Camden, and perhaps Lydia as well, but I don't know the date of her death. Haines Brown
