There is still a Methodist Church there, and many of the inhabitants are buried there. Unfortunately, many of the grave markers are made of iron, so have badly rusted and become unreadable. The pond used for power at the furnace is today called "Cumberland Pond." One of my ancestors, John C. Gressman, was a manager at the furnace. Many of the residents can be found following the iron trade to other areas of NJ, including RD Wood's furnace in Millville.
