He had a brother named Albert Sickler Baner and one named John. His sister was Mary Jane. Either Albert or John may have served too, but I can't find a source confirming that. His wife was Mary Emma Murphy. His children were Elizabeth, Florence, Rena, and William. There's a chance Elizabeth died young. You didn't list him, but there's another person you may be interested in if you want all the Civil War personnel associated with Cumberland County. David Cline. My information is that he was born in PA. He was in NJ by 1850, and by 1880 the family had moved to Bridgeton. His tombstone is in the First United Methodist Church cemetery on East Commerce Street in Bridgeton. He served in the Civil War with Company E 10th Regiment, NJ Volunteers for about 6 months and was discharged in Washington DC for disability. Good luck with your project.
