Hi, Unfortunately my Stevens history is nonexistent at this time as I have just begun my search for my ggrandmother's ancestors (Augusta Stevens Scudder 1860-1941). I found her listed in a Camden, NJ City directory with her husband, Frank A. Scudder in 1902, and one of her daughters (my grandmother), Lillian Stevens Scudder. I understood from my Dad, that she was of German descent. She was a member of the former Emmanuel Baptist Church in Camden, NJ for over 50 yrs, and was also a member of the WCTU. Supposedly her Stevens family came from the Phila. area to Back Neck, NJ and then to Camden, NJ when she was abt. 16 years old. She is buried in New Camden Cem. This is all I have for now.
