I have a ancestor that was a possible beneficiary in a will in signed at Cohansy Bridge, Cumberland County, New Jersey. The will was signed in 1759, which would have made my ancestor only sixteen (16) or seventeen (17) years old at the time. Was he of legal age to be a beneficiary?
