Oh George ... that would be wonderful. And please don't think I was judging Mr Reeves. I'm sure that he takes excellent care of the records in his possession. I was just thinking it would be a good safeguard to have them copied and kept at another location - such as the historical society or somewhere like that. I wouldn't think that keeping them in on of the garages at the cemetery would be a good idea either. I do know that Mr Reeves knows what he has and just where to look in all those records. I had the chance to go to Mt Pleasant a couple of years ago. I had to call Mr Reeves to locate my great grandparents graves ... he had an answer for me in less than an hour .... and I not only found my great grandparents, but my gggranparents buried right next to them. I do appreciate what he does and his knowledge of the records and cemetery.
