Russ, I googled and found this: "The 1800 census schedules for New Jersey no longer exist as they were burned by the British during the War of 1812." but then I found this: New Jersey Census Status. I have access to all the extant records: 1790 - Lost 1800 - Lost (Except for Cumberland County) WOO HOO!! I'll be looking for access to them in NJ somewhere.. (if anyone knows anything, feel free to pipe up..) thanks! -andrea On 10/15/05, Russ McClelland <[email protected]> wrote: > Andrea and all > > The 1800 census for Cumberland County, NJ exists, it is available in printed > form and is available in many large city libraries.
