Hi Dick, I did a search for Kille, then Kelly, then Kelley with Delaware River in it and came up with an archive article. Is it possible this was in Delaware -- just across the river from NJ? Check this article and in the 12 th paragraph it describes area of Delaware that includes Kelley Island (could have been a point). Hope this is a clue for your searches.
