This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Jersey was Burton. I graduated Millville h.s. in 1966, but I think by then Burt had moved away. So, no, I don't think there is another Alcorn "looking" into local genealogy. It was YOUR name I meant to say, because you once said that Trout was yours, yet didn't add any more details. I hope you aren't the only one who finds the Parsons updates useful, as they so far represent a few of us making some very time consuming trips to courthouses, cem's and historical societies, paying for documents, plus phoning or visiting many co-descendants. I mentioned some others in my post earlier today, but we can certainly use more help in going to (or writing to) the above sources; buying needed CD's, NJ Archives documents or LDS microfilms, etc. We also still do welcome any written update you have since Parsons-granddaughter Adeline married your Trout. Can you recall when you first heard about Jehu Parsons, Sam? Are there any photos or papers you can share? -- Dolores
