Mary Ann's brother, Harris H. is my grandmother's grandfather. Puts it back there a ways. My grandmother, Laura Eva Flanagin Turner wanted to join the DAR so she had her ancestors researched. According to her research Mary Ann's and Harris' grandfather, James Flanagin I, came to America in 1765. He married Sarah Helms of Salem County, New Jersey. Their son, James Flanagin II, was born in 1768 and died in 1840. If you have other, more or better information I would be thrilled if you could share. The only thing I know about Mary Ann is: b 1825, m Alfred Mulfred, c Ella (died about 18 years old), Clarence and Elizabeth (m Mr. Toule, c Ruth and Mary). Please let me know if this is correct.
