    3. I am sending this email to both Cape May and Cumberland County rootsweb list as I'm not sure if Isaac Atkinson was in one county or both. Isaac Atkinson was born abt. 1775 and died abt. 1846. He married Ann ?, who was born in 1778. Ann was listed on the 1850 and 1860 Census in Dennis Twp., Cape May County, NJ. I have found two children: Lydia, born in 1804 and Sarah, born in 1810. Lydia married Richard Sheldon (b. 1807) and had 6 children: Isaac (b. 1834), Elmer (b. 1838), William (b. 1840), Francis (b. 1842), Deborah (b. 1845), and John (b. 1846). They are all listed on the 1850 and 1860 Census in Dennis Twp. Cape May County, NJ. Sarah Atkinson married (1) John McCormick abt. 1830. They had two children: Isaac (b. 3 Jun 1831) and Elmer (b. 1833). John was a seaman and in 1838 he went to sea and never returned. Sarah waited 7 years and in 1845 she married (2) David Feaster. They had 3 children: David (b. 1845), Michael (b. Jan 1848), and Harry Robert (b. 1860). John and Sarah are my ggg grandparent's. Isaac Wilson McCormick married Louisa Havemeyer Robinson on 16 Jan 1855 in Upper Twp., Cape May County, NJ. They are both buried at Union Cemetery in Dennisville. Elmer McCormick married Abigail Abrams (d/o William Abrams and Alice Rhinehart). They both died fairly young in Millville and left 3 orphans who I believe were raised by Isaac and his family in Dennisville. I'm hoping to connect to someone researching the Atkinson family. Barbara in Wilmington, NC
