Elizabeth NJ. from that point they started and Hesstown Rd. there to RT 49 were all of my family's homes and land at that time. I had Hess relatives in Bellplain also.Many relatives Hess in Head of the River (.Tuckahoe) and in Cumberland too. I know of the Champion family. My grandfather was William A. Hess.
