I'm looking for information on James Bowen, b abt 1724, son of John and Rachel. He died abt 1779. He had at least four children. Rachel, James, Sarah and Hannah. His wife's name is unknown. All were of the Cumberland County area. Possibly the Stow Creek. I'm also interested in his son James Bowen, b abt 1750.He died in March of 1779. His wife was Rachel. He too lived in the Stow Creek area. He worked as a farmer. They had a son named David b abt 1775. David Bowen married Mary. They had at least four children. David, Jonathan, Sarah and Rachel. All were born in the early 1800-1810 period. Sarah married a McPherson and Rachel married John Horner. Rachel and John Horner were in the Canton area. Anyone recognize this group?
