Alice Vanmeter's mother's maiden name was Johnson, but I suppose it is possible she married a Dare first and then a Vanmeter. I have written requesting a a birth certificate, a marriage certificate, and a death certificate, since I am trying to find out about the family of Frank Wallace, Alice Vanmeter's first husband.
