I guess I'm just going to have to go find the certificate. thanks! -andrea On 15 Jul 2005 21:58:03 -0600, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Harris, Bateman, Fithian, Bereman > Classification: Marriage > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wQB.2ACE/364.1.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Mark Bowen married Sarah Harris on 2 April 1798 in Cumberland County, New Jersey according to "Early Records of Cumberland County, New Jersey", p. 70 by Charlotte Meldrum. > > > ============================== > Search the US Census Collection. I'd believe the diary if it's a contemporary source. The Meldrum book could easily be a typo. ----- Original Message ----- From: "andrea batcho" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, July 16, 2005 5:12 PM Subject: Re: [NJCUMBER] Re: Fithian Cousins > How odd.. Jan, This is true. I think my 4th great grandmother would be upset if she found out I was going to pay to track down her marriage certificate just to find out if it was the 3rd or 2nd. -andrea On 7/16/05, Jan Grube <[email protected]> wrote: > I'd believe the diary if it's a contemporary source.
