Anyone have anything on Ricksom Robbins brn 10 Mar 1856, wife Ida B Worrel. Ricksom retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad, around 1923, they lived in Pitman, had two sons James W. and Stacy Mathews, both who were in the lumber business in the Wildwood area. Thanks, William Robbins
Hello Mart and other interested parties, Is the Abdon Abbott I show as parent of Sarah that married Moses Attkinson; and John that married Hannah (unk); the same as you show as father of Ruth that married Smith Shaw? If so do you show something different as death data as I show 1790 which is 6 years before birth of Ruth? Also is your Smith Shaw that married Ruth Abbott the same as my Smith Shaw that had son thomas that married Anna Martha Shropshire? Or is The Smith Shaw that married Sarah Ellen Ford the father of the Thomas that married Anna Martha Shropshire? I only have a little more data on this line I show Thomas Shaw and Anna Martha Shropshire having a daughter Mary J. Shaw who married Samuel B.Fagan. They had a son George T. Fagan.
According to the book "Cumberland County Genealogical Data" , by H. Stanley Craig, page 117......Newcomb, Silas, m. Martha Savage, Oct. 22, 1784. Barbara
Hello Mart and any other interested parties, I have in my data base the following data not sure if same as people you mention in your message. Abdon Abbott, no spouse died 1790?? 2 children: Sarah that married Moses Atkinson, and John that married Hannah (Unk). Smith Shaw, married Sarah (Unk) had son, Thomas b. 1836 that married Anna Martha Shropshire. Do they appear to be same people that you listed? Bill Ayres Ayars Family Association

Not sure what I've gotten myself into but I've started a BENNETT Query Board on GenConnect effective today. I've never been any kind of administrator before so this should be a learning experience. While this will be for ALL Bennetts searching ANYWHERE, I'm hoping it will generate some hope for us exhausted Cumberland Co researchers. The URL is http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/surnames/ben/Bennett Pat Bennett Springer

I'm trying to obtain any and all information about the Kimsey families who were in Hopewell, Newton, Waterford and Deerfield Townships, Cumberland Co NJ, in the 1700s. Hopewell Township census shows John Kimsey (beginning 1773), Thomas Kimsey (beginning 1773). Waterford shows a C. Kimsey (1793), Clement Kimsey (possibly the same as C.) (1792). Clement later shows up in Newtown. I'm particularly interested to know if any of these Kimseys had a child named Benjamin. Also, does anyone have any idea where these Kimsey families were originally from? Any information about the townships and the nationalities/religions of people who settled there? Any and all help much appreciated. Judy Kimsey
