Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wQB.2ACE/561.3.1.1 Message Board Post: Mona, According to the records of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Friesburg, NJ, John Jacob Hann had a son named Daniel born 15 April 1788. John Jacob's younger brother Jonathan also had a son named Daniel who was born 10 Oct 1800. The 1850 census which lists Daniel with his wife Sarah and their daughter Hannah, gives Daniel's age as 50. This would be exactly right for him to be Jonathan's son, not John Jacob's son Daniel who would have been 62 that year. Furthermore the marriage you mention between Jonathan Hann JR and Nancy Brandriff in 1822, was that of Daniel's older brother who was born 12 Jan 1799. Daniel's father Jonathan Hann married Elizabeth Duffield in 1 May 1798 in Cumberland Co. By the way, Daniel, the son of John Jacob, married Elizabeth Stewart 10 April 1810 in Glouchester Co., NJ. I know this family is very hard to keep track of with all the repeat names. There is one more Daniel and 3 more Jonathans that we have not talked about here. I really recommend the above mentioned church records for keeping track of all the players. It is available for sale from the Gouchester Co. Historical Society. Nancy

    2. Mary Hill
    3. Andrea and Carol asked about the address of the old Baptist Cemetery in Bridgeton. I don't know. However, I have a book, printed in 1982, that gives the address of the First Baptist Church of Bridgeton as: 136 East Commerce Street Bridgeton, NJ 08302 (609)451-2648 Maybe someone at the church can help you. There is reference, on Internet sites, to the Pearl St. Baptist Church Cemetery that was there in the 1800s. Maybe that's it. Mary E. V. Hill www.maryevhill.com<http://www.maryevhill.com/>
