    2. Andrea, Hello. I belong to a group called deadfred.com. You can post old pictures there etc, and you can find out what to do with them. It's a real neat website! Anyhow, I have several pictures of the photographers that you have mentioned. I was surprised to see you list them! Sincerely, Susan Pratt

I uploaded my data today to Ancestry.com and rootsweb.com WorldConnect, indexing may take awhile, but search on Bernard Langsdorf to find my data. Hope this helps, Deb Langsdorf Gunther

He is the right age between 30 - 40 yrs. old. Perhaps there were 2 Thomases b. abt. the same time. Have you contacted Barb McCormick? She has a lot of Elwell data. I believe he is the same Thomas Elwell who is in the 1830 census in Stow Creek Twp., Cumberland Co., NJ, and the same Thomas Sheppard ELWELL who was the son of Samuel and Rachel (Sheppard) ELWELL of Roadstown, Cumberland Co., NJ (who sold land to the Cohansey Baptist Church in 1799). 3. This might not help at all, but I have: Emma S. Elwell - b. 1832 in NJ married Ephriam C. Loper (b. 1831-nj) on May 6 1854 children (I think.. so far): Leonard, Ella C, Laura V, Elizabeth H. "Lizzie", Alpheus D. "Allie" Emma's "S" might be Sheppard. I'm tracing the Loper line from Alpheus Loper, Sr. -andrea On 8/13/05, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > My ancestor, Thomas S. 2. I am very interested in the photos and the dates thereof. It is probably Seeley not Seeler for one of the studies. You can buy archival materials through library supply services such as Gaylord, University Products or go to a scrapbook place. Since you are not buying much, maybe a local retailer is best just make sure the material is archival. Of course, some of us have had pictures found in old boxes stored for many years and they are fine. But you are doing a good deed. Sincerely, Nancy Pexa

    3. Hello Listers, I was recently given a stack of photos of unknown family members from such studios as W. E. Service in Bridgeton Bolton in Millville Hardwick's Photo Parlor in Bridgeton Wm. W. Seeler's Studio in Bridgeton, NJ I'm sure that there are some of you on this list who also have family photos from those studios. They're all mounted individually on card approx 5x7 and then the name of the photo studio. The stack was given to me in a brown paper bag and I'd like to buy an archival album or a proper archival box to preserve them in. I was hoping that someone on the list has done that with their photos and could help me out and point me where to look and/or buy. Thank you! -andrea

Surnames: Forest/Forrest and Miller Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wQB.2ACE/1014.1 Message Board Post: Hi Paula. Here is the info I have on Catherine and Robert Miller. I can't give you documentation because I lost my documents in a move. Robert Miller and Catherine Forest/Forrest married 11 Nov 1858 in Balteagh Parish church (Newtown Limavady area). Catherine's death certificate gives her mother's name as Bridget, but unless that was another name used by her mother, it may be that Robert didn't know her actual name. Their children are: James F (presumably Forrest), born 18 Feb 1860 (Lomond, Tamlaght Finlagan - source unknown); Robert Miller, born 6 Jan 1862 (Crindle, Tamlaght Finlagan - source unknown); Mary Ann (known as Minnie in the 1880 census), born 17 Jan 1864 (Crindle, Tamlaght Finlagan - source unknown), died 27 Dec 1896; Isabella, born 24 Oct 1866 (Cumberland County, NJ); William B., born 3 June 1869 (Cumberland County, NJ), died 14 Dec 1923 (Barnsboro, Gloucester County, NJ); and Matilda, born 20 Nov 1871 (the same day her mother died - assumed during or after childbirth). Robert remarried Anna Hanna. They had Maggie. I didn't realize the Forrest clan had come over as well. I'd like to know when they arrived and on what ship in what port, if you have that information. I'll be telling my mother about the other family that arrived to see if maybe she knew them as well as Catherine's children, but didn't realize they were family. It doesn't matter which email you use to respond (I sent you email from my other account), if you do.

    3. Hi. I could have sworn I saw a picture of Charles E. Sheppard (of the MH&G book aka Sheppard's papers/files) in his office, possibly with Thomas Cushing, surrounded by papers. I saw it somewhere in my internet surfing. Has anyone else seen the same picture? I'm asking because I think my Great Great Aunt Lizzie has the same picture in her photo album which I was just given yesterday.. thanks, -andrea

    2. Forwarding this if someone is interested Bill -----Original Message----- From: Brian Nichols [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 12:52 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [GAFULTON] Genealogy Classifieds I have just started a website at www.genealogyclassifieds.com and would like to see if anyone wanted to list any old genealogy books or publications here. Its free and hopefully someone may have a book or society magazine someone else needs as well as putting some of the original cost you incurred back into your own pocket for new genealogical books or publications purchases. FYI, I started this because there are a lot of out of print books I am looking for and cant find anywhere to get them. Hopefully this will help me as well as some others in the process. So feel free to forward this to other list you may be members of. I receive no money from this in any way in case some of you were wondering.... Brian Nichols
