I am researching my maternal line. We are of Polish decent if you haven't already figured it out. My goal is to link back to Poland. However, most of my history is on the females of my family which seems to be slowing my search. My great great grandmother died Katarzyna Rupinska in 1941. She lived in Camden NJ. I believe she remarried when she came to the United States sometime after 1912 to Wojciech Rupinski (Cupinska?). They are not burried together. They married in either Parsons, PA (Now part of Wilkes-Barre), Philadelphia or New Jersey, maybe Camden. Her death certificate states her parents were John Blados & Rozalia. She came to the USA via Philadelphia in 1912 under the name Katarzyna Filipkowska - widow. From family history she was married to Cichowski prior to Filipkowski and married for the first time for which I have no information. Katarzyna came to America with my grandmother Anna Filipkowska - supposed widow of a Zadowska. She later married a Marcel Borowski and they had 4 sons. My family believes the Borowski's or Rupinski's had a farm in Doylestown - Can anyone confirm???? If anyone can help, please let me know. Also if anyone knows anything regarding the Poles emmigration from Poland. Natalie tomnatalie@erols.com
