Folks, If you will recall, it was through this site that I obtained information leading to a beehive of living relatives. Their information is beginning to pour in, so I will have questions. I will keep emails short and to the point so noone will feel intimidated. First, and I quote: Back in time to 1930 and as the story goes--- Nanny Sommers rode the bus between Barrington and Camden. Towards Camden, on the Haddon Ave. route, after Kaighns Ave. and before Newton, on the left side, stood an orphanage with a play yard in fron. Riding the bus Nanny noted Vera, Elizabeth and Rose playing. They all had flaming red hair. Nanny took the girls to live with her family with a compassionate act and probably for some money she would receive. We know the time frame because Elizabeth was born in 1915... This lady Elizabeth, married "Nanny's" son, Paul Thomas Sommers, and became my Aunt Elizabeth, sadly now plagued with Alzheimer's Disease. Does anyone know the name of the orphanage, or recognize any of the names here presented? Thanks, Vince
