He was married to Sarah Ann BORTON born about 1834 in New Jersey. Their children were: Joseph E. DAVIDSON born about 1853 in New Jersey Mary Emma DAVIDSON born about 1858 in New Jersey Samuel DAVIDSON born about 1861 in New Jersey William DAVIDSON born about 1869 in New Jersey Sister-in-law, Permilia BORTON SMITLEY and her daughter were enumerated with them in 1870.
