    1. [NJCAMDEN-L] CHEWS, Arthur, Wilson, Lewis, Frances
    2. Vincent E. Summers
    3. Does anyone recognize these Chews? Distant offspring of the famous Gloucester county Chews, direct descendants of the Loyalist Jonathan (of whose final fate I know nothing -- did he flee to Canada, then?). My Cousin Fannie (Fanny?) was a bewhiskered old lady, not too appealing to the eye, but warm to the heart. Stories of Wilson came from my Grandmother, who visualized him, or maybe even allegorized him, as extremely tall. She always smiled about her Chew relatives. They were all from around the 1860's or 70's. Children of Walter Wesley Chew, whom Prowell calls Walker W. Chew. Walter Wesley Chew's wife, Elizabeth R. Fitzgerald, who may have been Elizabeth Rouse Fitzgerald, named after the DeRousse's, died in Cheltenham. So, perhaps if you do not know anything of these persons, you can still help me by telling me what county Cheltenham is. Pa, I believe? Vince
