I have been flooded with great information from the list members, and I just have to thank you! I now know Samuel S. MARCEY's household from the 1850 and 1860 census. By the way, this fellow was the enumerator in at least a portion of the Cape May County census for 1830... He had wife Thankful, son Manuel E. or Samuel E., or Hamish E. (this will be worked out by me - probably not too difficult). Another son was Alexander, and a daughter was Martha. But here is one that was misleading from one census, but clarified by the other... 1860 said something like Tolphena was a daughter. That is exactly how it did look. But 1850 revealed: Tryphena MARCEY, aged 10. So many thanks, and I look forward to linking, if possible, Paul Mulford MECRAY to Alexander, etc., etc. Vince Summers
