My brick wall: Charles H. Smith (listed as Charles Morris Smith by Etherington Funeral Home, NJ); born 4 Mar 1867 in Phila., PA, died 10 Feb 1950 at Camden County Mental Hospital (Lakeland). Charles was a grocer and a ship carpenter. He lived in Camden and Gloucester City, NJ. Charles married Anna Jones, born Sept 1869 in either VA or PA. Charles had a sister Caroline R. who married George Reinhardt. Charles' father was William Ernest Smith, who was born in Germany. Family stories say that William's name was Wilhelm Ernst Schmidt and that he changed it when he came to America. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. l
