I've been on this list for a bit now, and I must say, the only Burlington County info I receive on the Camden List is the Census info, which, by the way, I receive on the Burlington, Salem, Cumberland and Gloucester Lists also. Do I mind reading it on one list and then hitting delete on all the other lists? Not a bit. Perhaps I missed something where the theory of the counties being so close was mentioned, however, I have this theory, families did in fact move around back then, perhaps you have them in 1870 in Camden County, yet, in 1860 they were in Burlington County, or perhaps the parents of one spouse were in one county while the "married couple" in another. I personally, have a line where they were in Burlington County in 1892, yet in Cumberland County by 1900. If it is this census posting on various lists that is the issue, I for one applaud MaisieAnn for her efforts to include those closely related Southern New Jersey Counties, and I also applaud the list owner for allowing her to do this. Think about this, you're digging and digging for family you're positive lived in Camden County in 1860 (I'm using this year because that's the year of the census being posted), but you can't find them, then, all of a sudden, one day, you scroll through the 1860 Burlington County census and wow, there they are, had she kept this post strictly to the Burlington List, and you weren't on that list, you would still be digging, wouldn't you? Thank you MaisieAnn, for posting this information on various lists, as I said earlier, I receive this post 5 times a day, I read it once and delete the rest, not a problem, in fact, very easily done! I would hate to see anyone un subscribe simply for this reason, but, if you feel that's what you must do, then, good luck with all your searches, please come back if you change your mind. While I'm writing, if anyone can find a connection of William MINGIN and Emma LONG, in this county prior to 1892, either married, or single, I'd be forever grateful, I can place them in Florence, Burlington County, NJ, in 1892 with the birth of their son, but can find nothing else. I believe that they were both born about 1870, as there was one birth in 1919.
