Hi Edie, Hope you remember me from earlier discussions of who Lydia's parents were. Well, I finally received a copy of her death certificate today and guess what?? Her parents were as I suspected -- David SCUDDER and Martha GANDY. She died Aug. 7, 1914 in Wildwood, Cape May Co, NJ and buried at Beesley Point, Cape May Co., NJ. The undertaker was her son-in-law, B.C. (Benjamin C.) Ingersoll of Wildwood. I hope this helps to give you some solid data. Exciting, isn't it?? She was a younger sister to my John G.
