I recently (March 25) sent a request for a death record to the State of New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services in Trenton, N. J. Today it was returned because I did not put a specific day of the month. The only information I had was June, 1951. Apparently all the other info was acceptable. My question is: Does the state of New Jersey have an index of deaths available in the libraries, maybe on microfilm or microfiche? We have them in our small town library for our state (Florida) and if I go to a larger town, such as Jacksonville, I can find our neighboring state as well. Although some early years, such as 1951 would not show the day of the month, it will give a volume # and certificate # which is a guide that our Vital Statistics Office will accept. I would appreciate any input on solutions to this problem. I really want this information. Thanks, Harriett in Palatka, FL
I'm looking for census data from Glendora for 1930. Does anyone know what enumeration district it falls in or whether it's classified by another name? thanks. Karen --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo! Music Experience
