I am looking for information on Samuel Holmes, the son of progenitor John Holme, who first settled in Philly (after arriving from Somerset England in 1685 on the "Desire"), especially Samuel's children and their children, after they moved to Salem, NJ and the Gloucester area. Any info is great.... Thanks, John Holmes

If anyone would like it, I have an 1840 Philadelphia City Directory page for Camden, NJ that says: STATE BANK AT CAMDEN, N.J. Office, 12 Church alley, Philadelphia. Chartered 1812. Capital $300,000. Discount-Wednesdays and Saturdays RICHARD M. COOPER, President. ROBERT W. OGDEN, Cashier. Directors. Richard M. Cooper, Joseph W. Cooper, James Matlack, Joseph Rogers, Joseph R. Parry, Samuel C. This is great, as it ties in Joseph W. Cooper with Samuel C. Champion. I show Joseph W. COOPER as marrying Rebecca F. CHAMPION. I am curious who the parents of Rebecca were. Was one of them Samuel? Or was Samuel her brother, etc.? Anyone able/care to assist? Thanks, folks! Vince Summers

Either everyone has found who they were looking for, or they're too tired from searching to continue any longer!! Hehe Joan
Hi Everyone - Thanks to all your responses and that mine came back to me, I was able to determine which lists I had and had not been un subscribed from due to bounce backs, thank heavens some of the lists were slow yesterday! Take care - Deb
I'm doing this because I have had absolutely no mail since yesterday, and due to a problem with earthlink, I need to see if I need to re subscribe, or if it's just been that quiet on all 8 lists. Take care- Deb
