Robert, The online info for your aunts obit doesnt give any info that you dont already have. I looked her up in the 1930 census and I'm pretty sure this is her and the info I found was. Frederick Antes-age 25- Head of House Marie A. Antes-age21- Wife Marie C Antes-Daughter- 2 yo They lived at 6937 78th st. Queens, N.Y. He was a truck driver for a pottery company. They rented their house for $40 a month They owned a radio set. ( I dont know why they asked that question on the census) Frederick was born in NY and his parents were also. Marie C. was born in NY and both her parents were born in Germany. Maries SS# was 087-30-7048 Her dob is 7-18-1908 & her dod was 8-16-2001 I would be happy to go to the library and look up her obit if they have it yet on fiche if you dont mind waiting about a week. Let me know. Perhaps another poster could also look it up if they have the time. Best Regards, Mike Heim(family from Bad Mergentheim originally)
Robert, I check www.courierpostonline.com and could not find the obituary for Marie ANTES. You can search by date as well as name. The Courier Post is the paper for South Jersey. Cathy PS I live near Berlin New Jersey. And Voorhees is close to Berlin New Jersey too.
Hi, how would I be able to get a copy of the newspaper obituary or burial record for my relative Marie ANTES born 18 Jul 1908 New York City, died 16 August 2000 Voorhees, Camden Co. , New Jersey. I live in Germany and have no idea what sources I should try.
