    1. Re: [NJBurlin] BHS class of 1916
    2. Frances Stone is my cousin. Her father, Edward Braislin Stone, and my grandfather, James Johnson Goodenough Stone, were brothers. She married Thomas Ryan and had two sons, Eddy and Tom, who are both still living. Frances worked for 35 years as secretary to the warden at the New Jersey State Penitentiary (originally her father, Edward, until his death in 1934). According to Tom Ryan: "My brother Ed and I lived at the Arsenal House, a Revolutionary war building and prison on 2nd St. in Trenton with my mother, Frances Stone Ryan, my grandmother, Lillian M. Venable Stone, my grandfather, Edw. B. Stone, and his father, James Love Stone, a retired upholsterer with the Birch Carriage Factory in Burlington and an active member of the Odd Fellows in whose cemetery in Burlington these wonderful people are buried." Just thought you'd be interested. And thank you for preserving for all of us this important little piece of Burlington history. 8:o) Priscilla Stone Sharp
