Dear Nancy, Thanks so much for that story! Although I'm not related to any of the people involved, I grew up one block from the scene of the accident, on the corner of Morris St. and the railroad. Looking out our front windows, we could easily see the Essex St. crossing. In fact, my daughter and her family now live in the house where I grew up.
