    3. The deeds are in the NJ State archives and I believe they are indexed by grantor and grantee. This would yield info on when he bought or sold land. ....Bob ______________________________________ Bob Howey robert.howey@thomastechsolutions.com Researching in New Jersey and Pennsylvania: HOWEY, BOWEN, WOODLIN, HARRIS, VENABLE, SHRINER, CASPER, PAULLIN, WEBBER, TORBERT, SHAW, WELLINGTON, EVERINGHAM, CONOLEY, IRELAN, WALLEN, WHITAKER, WEBB, BARTHALOW (BARKLOWE) _____________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: Arlene christensen [mailto:aaachris@juno.com] Sent: Saturday, March 02, 2002 2:42 PM To: NJBURLIN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [NJBurlin] Land Records Listers: I have found my gggrandfather and family on the 1850 census living in Burlington county, NJ and it lists that he owned $2000 worth of real estate. How would I go about getting his land records? I have written to the county, the city, the state with no luck. They say I need to know exactly where the property was located. He is James Atkinson and his children were born in Eversham and Milford, NJ. Is there some way I can find this property? Any help would be much appreciated.
