Hi, Any Allen researchers out there? I'm looking into James Lawrence Allen b. 1821, son of James and Lydia Allen. He m. Mary Cramer Johnson b. 1813 who lived in Lower Bank. Mary is in the census 1850 and 1860 but he is not with her. But he is buried in the Lower Bank cemetery with the family. His death cert. states he was in the state only 4 mo. They had 2 children.
