Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oQB.2ACE/1513 Message Board Post: There was a Lambert Burial Ground in existance in the Chesterfield (New Hanover Twp.), Burlington Co., New Jersey area in the early 1790's. The property had been left to the Chesterfield Monthly Meeting at the demise of a Mr. Lambert. In about 1794 a committee of Quaker gentlemen were dispatched to remove and destroy all the headstones in that cemetery. Would anybody with any information reference that particular cemetery please contact me. Thank you.
