Hello Everyone - Does anyone have any idea of any churchs that may have been around 1800-1810 in Bensalem, Bucks County, PA. Possibly a Baptist or Methodist Church. My G-Grandfather, Amon Wells, was born in Bensalem in 1809 according to the 1860 census. The 1810 census for Bensalem shows Amos Wells (my G-G-Grandfather) , his wife and a son 1-5 years of age. The 1820 census shows them in Bristol Township then they disappeared for 20 years. My brick wall is trying to find who Amos Wells father and mother was. If there were a church record of Amon's christening, it should list, hopefully, the parents and maybe others. Thanks for any help. Tom Wells - Daytona Beach, FL
