King Street (856) 456-3487 7 PM Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday, August 7th at 7 pm, our guest speaker at the Gloucester City Historical Society Museum will be EMT John McNutt of the Gloucester City Fire Department. He will discuss briefly the history of firefighting in general, then into more detail concerning Gloucester City. His presentation includes a slide show and he will take questions when he is through. On Exhibit at the museum are some items connected with fire fighting service as well as some memorabilia concerning the fire that destroyed the Gloucester Ferry as well as the fire of March, 1960 that destroyed the Monmouth Street School and the original steeple of St.Mary's Church.
