Someone sent this to a friend but I don't know where he got it. and whose house-hold it was. Ida May Cecil Home in 1900: Jersey City Ward 3, Hudson, New Jersey Age: 18 Estimated birth year: abt 1882 Birthplace: Tennessee Race: White Relationship to head-of-house: Adopted Daughter [?] I believe this is my Husband's Aunt b. 1882 in TN., who, along with his father was orphaned in TN in 1892. We are surprised to see her show up in NJ. although her the man she married in 1920 was said to be from there,... His name was John J. DeKorte and Iwould love to know more about him also.
