Born January 7, 1944, he was a son of Earl Thomas and Elaine L. Speer. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Plummer Speer and Gladys Mae Fye Speer of Freedom, Beaver County, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith R. (nee Smithlin); three sons, Earl Thomas Speer III, Richard L. Speer and Christopher D. Speer; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly Ann and Jeffrey L. DeStefano and Jacqueline and William P. Rogan; two grandsons, Andrew Fillius and Devin DeStefano; one brother, Clifford Leigh Speer of Mt. Laurel, NJ; two sisters, Elaine L. Speer and Denise Speer; other relatives and dear friends.
